So, as you may have seen from Nathan’s last email, the teams are set for this Saturday! If you are on a team and can’t make it then let us know so we can rearrange. You may or may not have noticed I (Lauren) am not listed. Nate and I decided that most weeks I will be an alternate in case someone doesn’t show and teams are uneven. And as long as teams are even, I will be on the sidelines capturing all the spectacular softball moments! Keeping track of the play-by-play, photographing action shots, and cheering everyone on. YEAY Softball!

So, this weekend on Saturday May 2nd, we will meet at the Cleveland Circle fields to get the softball season going. The game itself will begin at 2PM, but many of us will arrive early around noon to brush up on our skills. Please feel free to come early if you would like some hitting and fielding practice before the game.

See you at the fields!

Good News! We already have over half of the people needed to fill two softball teams, so we are almost there. The start of a new season is upon us and I am particularly excited about our new team shirts! A professional designer is creating these home and away outfits and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with! We also have some possible new players which will be fun, and most importantly we are finally organized! Thats right, you will know all the season’s games way in advance, we will have specific instructions for rained out games, we will sign up early for any tournaments the team is interested in, and we will post photos, stats, and game summaries from every event to keep track of our summer fun! Hopefully all this will help everyone with their summer planning.

I’ll post the schedule soon! Keep checking back!
